Hook

 A sixteen year old flower girl is running and running being chased by the Taliban after rejecting the recruiting letter then bang…3 weeks later she wakes up with a box attached to her and a red blinking light.

    This is an interesting start! You might consider splitting up your run-on sentences in the future, to help the reader to organize the events.
