The Great Big Family

Authors Note- This is my Outsiders Essay and I didn't have a very good conclusion so could you comment on that.

When you read The Outsiders you gain respect for the other people, the people without a future, the people without big and rich families, and the people without the second chances. The Outsiders has a deeper meaning that most people don't catch. The main idea is not just greasers and Socs; it’s the deeper part of it and how family is more important than everything.
Without his brothers, Pony would have a worse life. The Curtis family has had a tough history with their family, with their parents dying and Darry having to have to grow up in a very short amount of time. It may not seem like it at first but Darry loves Pony; just because he hits him doesn’t mean he hates him, Darry really loves Pony he is just afraid that he will lose Pony like he did his parents. By Darry hitting Pony, which forces Pony to make a quick decision and it wasn’t the best one and runs away. That’s when the unseen family comes into play. He’s lucky to have his brothers, to have a family.
Without the gang, most of the boys would not have a support system. Dally gives advice to Johnny and Pony because of the support system and because without the system Dally wouldn’t of given Jonny the 50 dollars and Pony the shirt and Jacket. The system comes into place even at the brawl, when Tim Sheppard gang helped out with the brawl the system came into place.
The Outsiders has a moral and it is deeper than just greasers and Socs hurting each other. It is about the family and how much deeper it is than what meets the eye. The unseen family is important it is what keeps the greasers alive, together, and out of jail.

Buffalo Wild Wings

This cruel and unfair world is inspiring me to change it; this declaration is to show how outrageous Buffalo Wild Wings prices really are. This world has had lows but this is so low that it outrageous.
I used to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings all the time with my friends and get a couple of wings, but now I can’t even afford 8 boneless wings. I don’t understand why it costs so much money for some chicken wings.  When I went to Buffalo Wings I got 8 BBQ wings and 8 Asian zing wings and when I got the check I was furious there was no way they pay 15 dollars for 16 wings, they must costs at the most 15 cents per wing. After I complained they wouldn’t even fix my order.
One night my mom decided to get wings from there and she got the menu and left because of the outrageous prices and then she went and got some wings from Pick’n’Save ewwwwww!!! On my birthday last year my mom asked me where I wanted to go and I said Buffalo Wild Wings and she said no because it would be too expensive.
All attempts to get Buffalo Wild Wings prices to be lowered have failed. On my first attempt by taping signs to the walls on the outside, but all that did was getting us yelled by the cops. Another time we went there ordered 50 wings and just left, but I don’t think that did anything. The last attempt we had wasn’t really an attempt but we just went there and yelling out that the prices was outrageous. Those have been my desperate attempts to lower the prices at Buffalo Wild Wings.
This declaration is to show that if Buffalo Wild Wings doesn’t lower their prices it will affect their business greatly in a negative way. I will spread the word that in this bad economy no one would tolerate their expensive dining.

The Outsiders

Authors Note- This is just a bunch of thoughts put into a paragraph.

The outsiders is the title of a book and it means that the other people, the ones on the outside, the people without a future these are the people that are misjudged that are there because they have no where else to go.  The greasers are the people that had a chance but blew it when they were young.

Loss Of Innocence

Authors Note: This is just a paragraph with a bunch of thoughts and nothing more.

This poem has more meaning than you think and it really relates to the characters in the story. The big meaning is that at one point every character has a lost of innocence and has to grow up. This really relates to Johnny and Pony Boy because the loss of innocence is well known when they kill the soc and at that point they have to run away and become men.

Johnny

Johnny has long brown greasy hair, brown eyes and he wears a jean jacket. He also has a bad home life he lives with his two parents that don't care if he is home or not and when he is home they beat him. When Johnny kills the soc I thought he just got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. After Johnny kills the soc I believe he got misjudged because he only killed him in self defense and he was scared from the last time he got jumped.

Johnny At Home

Johnny is a great kid who is living in a messed up world, he is beaten at home by his drunken father and his mother just hates him and doesn't care about him. I think that part of the reason why he killed the soc was that his home life wasn't good so he made a bad decision.
